CUPE Local 358 represents workers across the Cowichan Valley. Our members work in many different workplaces and roles, but we share something important: the work we do matters to our communities.

Every day, people rely on the services our members provide. From roads and public spaces to recreation, community facilities, municipal and regional services, and Paid-On-Call Fire Services, CUPE 358 members help keep our communities safe, connected, and running.

Much of this work happens behind the scenes, but it makes a difference every day. Public services don’t happen on their own—they’re delivered by people. That’s why CUPE 358 stands up for safe workplaces, fair wages, good benefits, and dignity and respect at work.

Our Executive, Unit Chairs, stewards, and bargaining committees work together to represent members, protect collective agreement rights, and improve working conditions.
