On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, a vote to approve the new bylaws occurred and passed with some minor edits. The bylaws were then sent to CUPE National for their approval, and they were approved with comments on February 12, 2020. The Executive Board reviewed those comments as some amendments were required to language to ensure conformity with the National Constitution, and new language has been proposed. On January 19, 2021, this language was voted and approved by the membership.
